Amos and His Chins

Grandma keeps Amos and his chins entertained so the rest of us can eat in peace.

Mama's Boy

Grandma and Granddad finally got to come visit us again! We ate breakfast at Mama's Boy. Amos is actually not a Mama's boy. He is usually pretty happy to go to people he knows and sometimes to people he does not know.

Pool Time with Jonah, Claire, Grandma, Kaleigh, and Mrs. Betsy

Amos loves the water, especially when there are lots of people to play with! When we stayed with Grandma and Granddad on the way back from the beach Claire and Jonah got to come stay too. Mrs. Betsy and her granddaughter Kaleigh let us come over and swim with them. I have probably spent thousands of hours of my life in that pool! Amos loved watching Jonah and Claire practice swimming and jumping off the side. He also got to see Mrs. Betsy's dogs jump off the float and swim to the steps. Grandma managed not to get all the way in so she got to help keep order on the steps and take lots of pictures.

Resting His Eyes

Amos does some of his best sleeping in public places with his Poppa. I am glad he is able to just close his eyes and get a quick nap in when he needs it no matter what is going on around him. I will leave it up to you to decide which of them the "he" in that last sentence is referring to.

Secrets or kisses?

Amos is either telling secrets or preparing to give kisses to Granny O at the Chinese restaurant.

I can help!

Amos likes to help his Daddy play the piano!

Darlin'

Amos got to meet Darlin' when we stayed with Granny O and Poppa T on the way back from the beach. Aunt Kari helped him pet her, which he loved, and kept her from "petting" him back, for which he was very grateful. She likes to shake hands but Amos was not quite ready for that.

Happy 4th of July!

We got to celebrate the 4th of July with Aunt Nancy (Aunt Grandma). She and Mama (Grandma) were able to come help out a few times throughout June and July while I took a very hard class during a short summer session. Thanks to them our household continued to function smoothly and I made an A in the class. Thanks so much for all of your help!

A Rare Post by Lisa

As most of you know Lee does most of the posts for Amos's blog. I have some photos I have been meaning to post so it is time to do a little catching up. Amos likes to help with the laundry sometimes and this can include pulling the drying rack over on himself and emerging gleeful and unscathed.
